GEDLICH Racing’s all-new GT3 All-Stars marks a new venture for the organisers behind the ever-popular Winter Series events in Portugal and Spain.
At the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, 2006-2014 GT3 cars will compete in a pair of one-hour races, preceded by over 210 minutes of testing, practice and qualifying. The cars will be split into two categories; GT3A for 2009-2014 cars, and GT3B for the early 2006-2008 machines.
With a significant amount of pre-event track time, the GT3 All-Stars event will be the perfect kick-off to the season for teams racing in the emerging ‘historic GT3’ market.
Barcelona is intended to be just the beginning for GT3 All-Stars, as GEDLICH Racing hopes to create a platform for these cars during the summer months in its home nation of Germany and beyond.
The inaugural GT3 All-Stars race will join the paddock during the first-running of the GEDLICH 6h of Barcelona, as the overall package of events held by the organisation grows.
GEDLICH has always aimed to deliver championships suitable for all drivers and teams, from global juggernauts and superstars, to close-knit small independents and talented amateurs. That philosophy will continue to be implemented in GT3 All-Stars.
